FAW-Volkswagen has announced the imminent launch of the refreshed Golf GTI. This mid-cycle update brings enhancements to the car's exterior and interior, while the 2.0T engine remains at its heart.



Exterior-wise, the new Golf GTI keeps the current model's design but with refined details. The front headlight assembly is sharper, and the front bumper now sports a continuous design with a diamond-shaped grille, giving the car a more aggressive look. The iconic dynamic and compact silhouette of the Golf GTI is retained, enhanced by new five-spoke, flower-style wheels and red brake calipers, which add a sporty flair. The rear sees minor updates, mainly to the rear bumper, and continues with a dual exhaust setup.

The Traveler Entertainment Edition is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine, producing 187kW and 390N·m, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and an on-demand four-wheel-drive system, with a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 8.83L/100km.

Pricing for the Traveler Entertainment Edition is slightly higher than the current Chuanyue PRO and PRO+ models, reflecting its enhanced technological features. Toyota has unveiled the new Corolla Altis GR Sport model, a revised version that primarily focuses on exterior updates and features exclusive GR Sport chassis tuning. The powertrain retains the 1.8-liter hybrid system but with an all-new battery system.



Official images show significant changes to the front fascia of the new Corolla Altis GR Sport, with a redesigned front bumper featuring square-like air intake structures inspired by the GR Yaris and GR Corolla models.
