A few days ago, Toyota unveiled the new Corolla Altis GR Sport model. As a facelift, the new Corolla Altis GR Sport mainly makes exterior changes and offers GR Sport-exclusive chassis tuning, and the power continues to come from the 1.8-liter hybrid system, but with a new battery system.

According to the official picture, the new Corolla Altis GR Sport front face has changed a lot, the front surround has been redesigned, the two sides present a similar square air inlet structure, its design inspiration comes from the GR Yaris and GR Corolla models, and the right side of the “GR” logo indicates the identity of the information. In addition, the rear of the new car is equipped with new transparent shaped lampshades, with a black strip connecting the taillights, a black rear spoiler, and new styled 17-inch black rims.
Inside, the new Corolla Altis GR Sport comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch center screen and a head-up display. The car also comes with red seat belts and GR logo on the steering wheel as well as details such as the start button, and red stitching treatment on the center console and seats.
Powering the new Corolla Altis GR Sport continues to be a 1.8-liter hybrid system, but with a lithium-ion battery pack replacing the old model's nickel-metal hydride battery pack. In addition, the car offers GR Sport-exclusive chassis tuning with exclusive dampers, springs and rear stabilizer bar.
The Corolla, Toyota's classic compact car, is now in its twelfth generation, and the car has different nomenclature in different regions, including Southeast Asia, where it is sold under the name Corolla Altis.
