BYD Xia pushes 1.1.0 version OTA upgrade, adding 26 functions and 13 optimizations including intelligent driving and navigation
The new OTA functions include Intelligent Driving Navigation (HNOA), Lane Control (ICC), Lane Change Lever (ILCA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Assist (LDA), Door Opening Safety Reminder (DOW), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Forward Cross-Traffic Collision Alert (FCTA), Forward Cross-Traffic Braking (FCTB), Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCTA), Rear Cross-Traffic Braking (RCT) B) function, intelligent speed limit reminder (ISA) function, traffic sign recognition (TSR) function, blind spot monitoring (BSD) function, adjacent vehicle approach avoidance (ELKA) function, curve speeding reminder (CSW) function, intelligent high beam (IHBC) function, intelligent speed limit (ISLC) function, automatic parking (APA) function, remote parking (RPA) function, valet parking (AVP) function, HEV mode mileage setting vehicle maintenance reminder function, rear screen control interface "Back", "Home" and "Menu" buttons, intelligent voice to turn on or off the rear viewing mode.
Functional optimization includes: voice control of top screen commands, panoramic image visual effects, green and clean display of air-conditioning module, pop-up display effect of network calls, energy consumption display solution (driving energy consumption and historical energy consumption can be viewed in "Settings-New Energy"), strategy for opening rear-seat movie viewing mode, strategy for switching between inside and outside car singing modes, user experience of mobile phone NFC car key, air-conditioning heating and cooling dynamic display logic, ventilation effect of passenger seat, reverse flip function of exterior rearview mirror, welcome light effect, etc.
BYD Xia was launched on January 8 this year, with a total of 4 models, priced between 249,800 and 309,800 yuan. At the same time, the car's first-month sales reached a milestone of over 10,000 units, with sales of 10,003 units. To put it simply, in terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 5145/1970/1805mm respectively, a wheelbase of 3045mm, and a minimum turning radius of 5.7 meters. Compared with the D9, the car is 105mm shorter, 10mm wider, 95mm lower in height, and 65mm shorter in wheelbase. The new car's rear electric sliding door is not small in size and uses hidden slide rails.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, which consists of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 115kW and a maximum torque of 225 Nm; the motor has a maximum power of 200kW and a maximum torque of 315 Nm. It is equipped with Fudi lithium iron phosphate batteries. The CLTC pure electric range is 100 and 180km. The comprehensive range of full fuel and full power can reach up to 1060km. The fuel consumption of power feeding is 5.3L/100km and 5.4L/100km respectively, and the acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is 8.1 seconds and 8.5 seconds. The new car is also equipped with Yunni-C intelligent damping body control system and Yunni pre-aiming system. Yunni-C can sense the road surface in advance and actively adjust the suspension damping. It also supports VTOL external discharge function.
