Recently, Geely Radar, the official brand, announced that its Geely Radar Jingang model will be launched on December 23rd. The new vehicle is positioned as a pure electric commercial and passenger dual-purpose pickup truck and has already started blind ordering.
In terms of exterior design, the new vehicle features a closed grille design common to pure electric models, presenting a clean style. The headlight cluster is smoked-treated and connected to the grille, creating a strong visual unity. The front hood is designed with raised lines, adding a touch of muscle.
The lower bumper section is consistent with the Radar RD6, featuring a three-piece design with large side air vents that create a fang-like shape, giving it an imposing and fierce appearance. At the bottom, a flat trapezoidal air intake is decorated with horizontal structures, highlighting the layers of the front fascia.
In terms of side design, the vehicle retains a double-cab pickup shape with a straight roofline, equipped with a shark fin, and a segmented waistline that accents the layers of the vehicle's side. The wheel eyebrows and side skirts have thick black trim, highlighting a sense of strength. The wheels feature a smoked five-spoke petal shape, creating a good texture.
The rear design is not significantly different from the Radar RD6. The smoked adopts a through-style design, effectively stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear. The lower bumper is equipped with thick black trim, emphasizing a sense of power.
In terms of dimensions, the Radar Jingang pickup truck's length, width, and height are 5260 (5500) / 1900 / 1865 (1880) mm, with a cargo box size of 1525 (1765) / 1450 / 540 mm, and wheelbases of 3120 mm and 3310 mm.
The interior is similarly consistent with the Radar RD6, offering a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a floating central control screen, and an electronic gear lever, with a console that has a strong sense of hierarchy.
In terms of power, the new vehicle offers both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions. The two-wheel-drive version is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 180kW and a peak torque of 309N·m. The all-wheel-drive version is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 280kW and a peak torque of 485N·m. The corresponding CLTC range is 430km and 460km, with the latter's zero to hundred acceleration time being 5.7 seconds.
