In today's HarmonyOS Smart Drive annual live broadcast, the HarmonyOS Smart Drive LUXEED R7 extended-range model made its official debut. The new vehicle comes in two models with prices ranging from 249,800 to 289,800 yuan. It boasts an impressive range of 1570km, making it the SUV with the lowest wind resistance coefficient in the world. It is equipped with the Snow Owl intelligent silent range extension technology and Huawei's first-ever DriveONE next-generation three-in-one high-efficiency power generation motor, achieving a fuel consumption of 5.68L per hundred kilometers. Additionally, new colors have been introduced: Warm Star Cloud and Green Wave.
In terms of configuration, the new vehicle features Huawei's first-ever Snow Owl intelligent silent range extension technology, incorporating cross-domain collaboration, all-dimensional perception, and smart algorithms to achieve optimal balance between quietness, power, and energy consumption. The entire lineup comes standard with quiet tires, eight layers of double-glazed windows, and over a hundred noise control technologies.
Regarding the exterior, the new vehicle introduces two new color options, Warm Star Cloud and Green Wave, with the overall appearance not significantly different from the pure electric version. The front adopts a willow leaf-shaped headlight paired with a sealed front bumper, presenting a fashionable look. On the sides, the vehicle features a large fastback design with various details effectively reducing wind resistance, including frameless doors and a panoramic sunroof, achieving a low drag coefficient of 0.247Cd. At the rear, the trunk switch button is ingeniously hidden above the letter "D". In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4956/1981/1634mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2950mm.
For the interior, the new vehicle features the HarmonyOS 4 smart cabin, adopts a five-seat layout, and comes standard with Silk Cloud Seats 2.0, supporting ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Practical configurations such as an 8.2L refrigerator and electric sunshade are also included. In terms of space, the vehicle employs a OneBox space design, providing an effective cabin space of 3670mm. It has a trunk volume of 796L, with an additional 45L of underfloor compartment, and the second row of seats can be folded down to expand to an ultra-large space of 2089L.
In terms of intelligent driving, the new vehicle continues to feature HUAWEI ADS 3.0 end-to-end human-like intelligent driving, equipped with one LiDAR, one millimeter-wave radar, twelve ultrasonic radars, and eleven high-definition cameras for full-range coverage, capable of handling various road conditions with ease. Additionally, the entire lineup comes standard with continuously variable damping shock absorbers and the fully equipped Huawei Turing platform with intelligent air suspension.
Power-wise, the new vehicle is equipped with Huawei's first-ever DriveONE next-generation three-in-one high-efficiency power generation motor and Chery's fifth-generation intelligent efficiency range extension engine with a thermal efficiency of 44.5%. The motor reaches a maximum speed of 16,000 revolutions per minute, achieving over 92% of ultra-high power generation efficiency. The vehicle's fuel consumption is only 5.68L per hundred kilometers, with an ultra-high oil-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.7kWh/L. Its CTLC pure electric range is 251km, and under CLTC working conditions, the comprehensive range extends up to 1570km. It features Huawei's first giant whale range extension battery platform, capable of ultra-fast charging with 37kWh, allowing for a charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
