The YANGWANG brand said during the Guangzhou Auto Show that its large vehicle, the YANGWANG U7, opened for pre-sale with an intention deposit of RMB 20,000 yuan. The new car adopts a design language similar to that of the YANGWANG U9, equipped with very exaggerated C-shaped headlight clusters, above which are the high and low beam clusters, surrounded by a circle of LED light bands. Meanwhile, the car features large narrow-bar air intakes to enhance the vehicle's sporty look.



At the rear, it adopts a penetrating taillight with the YANGWANG brand logo in the center, which is highly recognizable. In terms of body dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 5265/1998/1517mm, with a wheelbase of 3160mm, positioned as a large car.



Interior, the car center console using symmetrical design, large vertical center control screen with two sides of the embedded LCD instrument + passenger entertainment screen, creating a good sense of technology and fashion. At the same time, the double-patchwork color scheme with a number of details added chrome elements, greatly enhancing the visual sophistication of the car. In addition, the car is equipped with independent seats in the rear and an entertainment control screen in the center armrest, which in turn enhances the ride in the rear.



YANGWANG U7 will be equipped with bidirectional 20-degree intelligent rear-wheel steering + e four-way agile steering function, with a turning radius of 4.85 meters. In terms of power, the car will ride on the e Four Square platform and debut the new YUNNIAN-Z system with four electric motors, each with a maximum power of 326 hp and a total power of 1,306 hp. Although the new car has a total mass of 3.095 tons, the top speed can still reach 270km/h. It is equipped with a high-performance blade battery, with a CLTC range of 720km. the YANGWANG U7 PHEV has a battery of 52.4kWh, with a combined range of over 1,000km.

Recently, BYD unveiled the teaser images of two new models, the Tang L and Han L, both bearing the same slogan "Peak of Prosperity." For the BYD brand, this marks the official confirmation of these two models, symbolizing a new phase in the development of flagship vehicles.



The Tang L's teaser image was released earlier. Although it only shows a side view in darkness, the content revealed is quite comprehensive. The front end confirms a split-type headlight group, with a thick black decorative strip connecting the flat daytime running lights on either side, forming a two-segment structure. Below, there are corresponding curved light strips, and the closed front bumper has split-type high and low beam headlight groups on both sides. This design is the first of its kind for BYD's own models, keeping up with current fashion trends. Despite being a true flagship, the Tang L does not feature frameless doors, a configuration that has already become common in domestic cars costing over a hundred thousand yuan, indicating that the decision was likely based on considerations other than cost, possibly prioritizing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) effects.



The waistline layout is more dynamic than that of the Tang, especially noticeable in the wider body, giving it a more fashionable appearance. The special decoration below the A-pillar is present, and hidden door handles are standard. The roof is relatively flat but slightly slopes downward, with a roof rack inside indicating advanced driver assistance features, including a roof-mounted laser radar. Most eye-catching is the D-pillar design; despite being named Tang L, it adopts a completely new design concept, not hiding entirely like the Tang but featuring a slight separation in the middle, creating a semi-floating structure that showcases its uniqueness. At the rear, there is a large spoiler, leading to a steeply inclined rear windshield. The through-type tail lights have a new Chinese knot pattern, emphasizing the weaving effect of the thick light strips and adding a strong Chinese cultural touch. The trunk lines are distinctly prominent, with a large decorative area at the rear bumper, unifying the overall style of the vehicle.



The Han L model does not feature a split-type headlight group but instead has a symbolic two-point daytime running light and a layered flat headlight structure, presenting an olive shape layout that appears more streamlined. The protruding nose and thick black decorative strip continue the family design, with the fog lamp area and air intake of the front bumper faintly visible, adding to the sporty look. On the side, the body continues the streamlined coupe profile from the Han, with smooth fastback transitions and a short tail, making it quite charming. Hidden door handles and framed doors are also present, as is the special decoration below the A-pillar. Notably different is the D-pillar design, which has a more complex jointed structure compared to the Tang L, catching the eye. Additionally, there seems to be a two-section panoramic sunroof, whether it indicates a dual sunroof layout or an opening mechanism remains uncertain, but laser radar is standard, showcasing the technological feel expected of the new era experience.



At the rear, a three-box tailgate is clearly visible, with the trunk's overall shape resembling the Han, showing strong continuity. The through-type tail lights also feature the new Chinese knot design, looking sharper. The rear bumper is further emphasized, enhancing the overall three-dimensional effect. More information on the interior and power configuration of the two vehicles will be announced by the officials later. However, broadly speaking, configurations such as the DM5.0 hybrid system's plug-in hybrid version and the e platform 3.0 evo's 800-volt architecture pure electric version will not be absent, along with emphasis on four-wheel drive systems. The interior will continue BYD's latest family design of simplicity, achieving an evolutionary spiral in the brand's design language. What the future holds is highly anticipated.
