Recently, Chichi Hong International Trade Company held a grand signing ceremony at the Shuangliu Used Car Base in Chengdu, signaling a major step forward in the company’s expansion in the international automotive trade market. The ceremony received significant support from the local government, showcasing their confidence in the company’s growth and future prospects. This backing has greatly boosted Chichi Hong’s confidence, paving the way for deeper resource integration in the coming years.

　2024 car enterprises “closing battle” in the Guangzhou Auto Show officially started, as the end of the year car market weathervane, attracted more than 90 car enterprises exhibitors, exhibiting 1171 vehicles, including 512 new energy vehicles, accounting for 44%. This year's car market competition is fierce, the first 10 months of sales target completion rate of more than 80% of the car companies only BYD, Geely and a few other companies, most of the car companies completion rate of 60% and below.



Chinese brands and new forces shined at the show, with BYD and Guangzhou Automobile Group setting up special pavilions, and Xiaomi Automobile and Huawei's Hongmeng Zhixing booth becoming a hit, with the appearance of Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra prototype attracting attention. Huawei's Zunjie brand made its debut, but production cars needed to be viewed by appointment.



New energy and intelligence were the main themes of the show. Ceres displayed a full range of models and unveiled a new generation of Super Range Extender System, while Geely and Baidu's Jiyue brand unveiled its first smart-driving supercar, the ROBO X, which is expected to be mass-produced in 2027. ZhiJi Automobile, Momenta and NVIDIA cooperated to create Smart Driving solutions, and Extreme Krypton Automobile demonstrated the vast Smart Driving 2.0 technology, which is geared towards high-level intelligent driving. The Guangzhou Auto Show demonstrates the changing trends and competitive dynamics of the automotive industry.

Toyota has unveiled the new Corolla Altis GR Sport model, a revised version that primarily focuses on exterior updates and features exclusive GR Sport chassis tuning. The powertrain retains the 1.8-liter hybrid system but with an all-new battery system.



Official images show significant changes to the front fascia of the new Corolla Altis GR Sport, with a redesigned front bumper featuring square-like air intake structures inspired by the GR Yaris and GR Corolla models. The right-side "GR" badge signifies its identity. The rear of the vehicle sports new transparent lens covers, connected taillights with a black trim strip, a black rear spoiler, and new 17-inch black alloy wheels.



Interior-wise, the new Corolla Altis GR Sport is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch infotainment screen, and a head-up display. It also features red seatbelts, GR badges on the steering wheel and start button, and red stitching on the console and seats.



Powering the new Corolla Altis GR Sport is the continued 1.8-liter hybrid system, now with a lithium-ion battery pack replacing the previous nickel-metal hydride battery pack. The vehicle also offers exclusive GR Sport chassis tuning, including specialized shock absorbers, springs, and a rear stabilizer bar.



As a classic compact car under Toyota, the Corolla has evolved to its twelfth generation and is marketed under different names in various regions, with "Corolla Altis" being used in Southeast Asia.
