Recently, the Fangchengbao brand announced the launch of its all-new Titanium series, which is the brand's second major product line. The first model of the series, the Titanium 3, was also previewed. Positioned as a pure electric compact SUV, the new car features a dual-motor AWD system and a monocoque body, with an optional rooftop drone pod, and is set to hit the market in the first half of 2025.
In terms of exterior design, the new car largely continues the family design style of the Fangchengbao's Star War Armor, adopting an "Interstellar War Machine" design language, with an overall square and tough appearance.
The front face features a dynamic black closed grille, with bold decorative strips on both sides. The smoked headlights combined with the off-road front bumper give the car's front a "fang-like" appearance.
The straight lines on the side of the car showcase a tough temperament, with exaggerated body cladding and side air vents that are highly recognizable. An optional rooftop drone pod similar to the Yangwang U8 is available.
The rear features a classic "little backpack" shape and horizontal LED taillights, with a trapezoidal surround at the bottom that echoes the front, giving it a strong look. The new car has dimensions of 4605/1900/1720mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2745mm.
Power-wise, the new car uses a monocoque body, equipped with a front AC asynchronous motor with a maximum power of 110kW and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 200kW, achieving a top speed of 201km/h.
As the smallest pure electric monocoque SUV model of BYD the Fangchengbao, it is evident that the new car is the production version of the previously released concept car Super 3. The new car is positioned to focus more on urban settings, less hardcore compared to the the Fangchengbao series, and more suitable for urban travel. So, what do you think of the new car's design? Does it hit your aesthetic?
