Recently, Jetour officially announced that to commemorate the cumulative sales of the Jetour Traveler surpassing 200,000 units, they have released a Traveler Commemorative Edition model priced at 193,900 yuan, limited to 3,000 units. Compared to the current model, the new car features three major upgrades.
Firstly, the 2024 Jetour Traveler is equipped with a 2.0T engine paired with a 7-speed wet double-clutch gearbox. The Traveler Commemorative Edition reintroduces an 8-speed automatic manual transmission. The engine remains the same 2.0T engine, delivering a maximum power of 187 kilowatts and a peak torque of 390 Nm. It also comes with an XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system.
Secondly, both the exterior and interior are equipped with exclusive commemorative edition badges, including tail labels, fenders, threshold strips, and embroidered interior details. Additionally, it features cool blackened wheel hub trims, all-black rearview mirrors, and a brand-new key fob. The interior boasts rock-effect accents on the passenger side panel and an illuminated route map of National Highway 318.
Lastly, the Jetour Traveler Commemorative Edition further enhances its offerings with the addition of 7+X driving modes, a trailer mode with towing hooks, and laser lights. Coupled with R19 AT tires, these upgrades significantly bolster the vehicle's off-road capabilities.
However, compared to these special edition models, consumers might be more eagerly anticipating the seven-seater version of the Jetour Traveler. The new model was declared to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as early as April last year and made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show, garnering significant attention from car enthusiasts. Yet, the delayed market release has led many to worry about potential issues with the project.
Should the new model hit the market swiftly, it is believed that the sales of the Jetour Traveler will reach new heights. Are you looking forward to the seven-seater version of the Traveler?
