Recently, it has been learned from relevant sources that the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA has completed production and is currently undergoing final testing. The new model will be equipped with an 800V electrical system, supporting up to 320kW fast charging, and is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2025.
From the exposed spy photos of the road test, the new car will adopt the latest design language of the Mercedes family, with head and tail lights and body lines that may draw design elements from the EQE sedan, and retains the classic sloping back shape, full of sportiness.
In terms of power, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA is built on a new Mercedes-Benz modular platform and will launch a pure electric version, offering consumers a choice between a rear-wheel-drive single motor and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version. The total power of the electric motors may reach 200kW and 280kW, supporting up to 320kW DC fast charging. In addition, the new car also offers an optional 85kWh silicon oxide battery pack.
Additionally, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA will also launch a 1.5T hybrid model, with a combined maximum power of 160kW, matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
