Recently, the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross has been launched. This model is essentially the same as the Corolla Rui Fang sold in China. As a minor update, the new model introduces new color options, while continuing to offer a choice between a 2.0L engine and a 2.0L hybrid powertrain.
Based on the official images, the overall design of the new car remains consistent with the current model. The front features a trapezoidal grille with a matrix design, giving it a scale-like appearance. The outer edges of the grille are adorned with chrome trim. The headlights have a powerful look, with a horizontal daytime running light strip at the top. The front bumper has horizontal air intakes, with fog lights positioned at the ends. The hood features prominent raised lines. Notably, the hybrid version has a different front design, with a larger grille and a wing-shaped ornament inside, adding a stronger sense of sportiness.
The side profile of the vehicle is very sleek, with blackened wheel arches. The roof also has black trim, and the upper edge of the windows is decorated with chrome strips. The five-spoke wheels have a simple yet elegant design.
In terms of the rear design, it appears quite flat, with long, slender taillights that extend to the sides. The rear bumper has a layered look and is finished in black.
The interior design is somewhat conservative but uses high-quality materials. Soft materials are widely used in the dashboard, with stitching details added. An 8-inch floating screen is equipped in the center console, featuring smartphone mirroring functions that support CarPlay and Android Auto.
The new car offers various practical features, such as a branded sound system, panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging pad.
In terms of power, the 2025 Corolla Cross is available in both gasoline and hybrid versions. The gasoline version is powered by a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, producing a maximum output of 171 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. The hybrid version uses a 2.0L hybrid power system, with a maximum output of 199 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8 seconds, coupled with an E-CVT electronic continuously variable transmission.
